February Projects

Hi! How was your February? I’m a bit earlier with my February projects post this month, and I really didn’t finish as much as I would have liked. I have a few projects that I’m working on at the moment, next month I’ll have to include some progress notes ๐Ÿ˜‰

I made my Dad a pair of crochet slippers for his 70th birthday which fitted perfectly. It was my first time making this pattern, the Adult Chunky Slipper pattern by Crochet By Jennifer. I used Cascade Yarns Pacific Chunky, which is an acrylic and wool blend, and it’s fast becoming my go to yarn. It’s soft and warm, doesn’t itch and is machine washable.

I then made this pixie bonnet from the same yarn for Digby, I made up the pattern as I went along and I’m fairly happy with how it turned out. I tried to get a picture of him wearing it but it’s a bit of a game to just tear it off his head and run whenever I put on him! Next month maybe…

I also added some new fabric button hairbands to my Etsy store, and am now deciding what to devote my time to making before bub arrives, apart from baby things that is.

And that was February done!

I’m off to finish off a dreamcatcher order now, enjoy the rest of your week:)
