Stitching + Reading

I decided I needed to take control of my personal projects this week. I thought that I had lots of things started but it turns out I only have 3 projects on the go. That’s not including all the things I have on the go for the shop!

I’ve almost finished Digby’s Ripple Blanket, only a few more rows and then I’ll be ready to move on to the border, yay! I started it when I was pregnant and Digs is now 16 months old. Lucky it’s one size fits all. Here it is again complete with toddler photo bomber!

I also started this vest for Leah about 18 months ago and it won’t fit her now so I’m finishing it off for her sister! It’s the Pacfic Pullover pattern by KT and The Squid. It’ll be great for the in between weather towards the end of winter, at least that’s what I’m telling myself!

I’ve only recently started knitting the Campside Shawl for myself. My mum gave me a voucher at the yarn store for my birthday in May so I bought myself some Cascade Pacific 8 ply yarn to make something nice for myself.

I’m also reading the 5th book in the Outlander series, The Fiery Cross, by Diana Gabaldon. (Which I forgot to photograph!) I hadn’t read a book in about 10 years, then I watched the first season of Outlander a few months ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. I read the first 3 books of the series in 3 weeks! I absolutely love it, I can’t wait for the 3rd tv series which will be awhile since the 2nd has just finished! If you haven’t watched it, it’s worth it for all the beautiful knits that they wear.

So what are you stitching and reading at the moment?
