Lately time seems to be elusive and I’ve had no choice but to ride the rollercoaster that is December and just keep going. Making, visiting, attending, watching and feeding the family.
I’ve been busy with my little handmade business venture, which has taken off quite quickly, much to my surprise. My crochet bead and silicone bead necklaces have kept me busy. My local community has been so supportive which has meant the world to me. It’s also meant this blog has taken a backseat, something I hope to change after Christmas.
Lately I’ve been pulled in 2 directions, my head trying to process the to do list each day, and my heart pulling me inwards, as it always does in December. It’s time to reflect on the year and bid it farewell as the New Year approaches.
I’ve been dreaming of all the new creative projects I’d like to tackle in 2016 – so many projects yet so little time.
Lately I’ve been thinking that even though the Christmas crowds at the shops can bring out the worst in people, it can also bring out the good. There were lots of smiles and friendly stranger chit chats when I did my shopping this year.
I’ve also realised how little time I’ve been spending with my camera, which has made me a little sad. So I’m endeavoring to pick it up at least once a day, every day for the next week so I get back in the habit.
Lately I’ve been watching my baby boy learn to sit up, and my oldest girl get her ears pierced. My babies are growing up so quickly, and I’m grateful I get to witness their growth and all their milestones. Truly blessed.
What have you been up to lately? Run ragged or totally chilled?
Let me know!
xx
Running around Kelly! Can’t wait for school holidays so I don’t have to face the school drive. It’s been a tough year for us but December has been good. Roll on 2016! You have a beautiful family x
